Working to create sustainable livelihoods and employment for people in Sierra Leone .

Who we are

Reseed focuses on creating opportunities, livelihoods and employment for people in Sierra Leone - allowing them to generate much-needed income for themselves and their families.

But we’re not like other international charities - we’re proud to do things differently.

As a small and mostly local team, we work in an agile, iterative and collaborative way to make sure we have a truly lasting impact on individuals and their wider communities.

Our projects at a glance

Over 60% of the population of Sierra Leone lives below the poverty line. 10 years of conflict followed by the 2014 Ebola outbreak left the country’s social and economic structure in tatters. Many people live in precarious conditions with women, young people and people with disabilities facing the greatest levels of poverty and unemployment.

We provide formal training, access to employment and financial support to those who have been excluded from these opportunities - empowering them to create sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families.
